To better serve the Wayne State research community, the MR Core Research Facility is installing a state-of-the-art 3T human MRI funded by an NIH S10 award (S10OD028724) to Wayne State University. The new MRI center is in the lower level of the EACPHS building [Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences]. This system will allow us to compete in the forefront of research in oncological conditions and neurological disorders and continue to be a leader in the field with respect to MRI research. The new MRI center will open the door to serve the research community in June 2024.
